When you are going to charge a Lipo battery, pay attention to the following:
Use only a Lipo compatible battery charger, preferably a charger with a balance charge function. This function ensures that the Lipo is charged most efficiently and the battery life is also the longest. Charge the Lipo battery when it has not been used for 6 months. Never discharge a Lipo battery beyond 3 volts per cell. When this happens (for example, by using the Lipo in a replica until it is completely empty), a chemical reaction occurs that can adversely affect the charging capacity, so that the original charging capacity can no longer be achieved when reloading. It is also possible that the battery is completely destroyed. To prevent this, we recommend using a Lipo alarm or a mosfet that has a Lipo warning function. When the Lipo enters a low voltage, an audible alarm will sound.
Never store a Lipo battery without it being "partially" charged.
The optimum temperature for storing the lipo is 12°C.
Make sure to disconnect the Lipo after each use.
